
What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non invasive energy practice that supports balance and relaxation by helping to clear energetic blockages caused by emotional, mental, spiritual, or physical stress. I often describe Reiki as an “energy tune up,” a way to restore flow, boost vitality, and support your body’s natural ability to rebalance itself.
During a Reiki session, I work to help align your natural energy and encourage a sense of calm throughout your whole system. As energy begins to move more freely, you may notice sensations such as warmth, tingling, or gentle cooling, or you may simply experience deep relaxation and a quiet sense of peace. Every experience is unique, and all responses are perfectly normal.
Distance Reiki (Online Reiki Sessions)
I also offer distance Reiki, which means you do not need to be physically present for a session. Distance Reiki works with the same intention and energetic alignment as in person work, and many people find it just as calming and effective. You can be in your own home, in another city, or even another country. All you need is a quiet space to relax and receive.
How Reiki Helps
People often ask me how energy healing works, and the honest answer is that it does not always fit neatly into words. What I do know is this. Everything in the universe is made up of energy, constantly moving, interacting, and responding. We are no different. When our energy becomes blocked or disrupted, it can affect how we feel physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Each Reiki session begins with a gentle energetic scan to sense where support is most needed. Using a hands off approach, I work just above the body, allowing energy to flow where it is needed most. Some practitioners use light touch with permission, but hands off methods are equally effective. The practitioner acts as a conduit, helping guide energy and restore balance.
The primary benefit of Reiki is bringing the entire system back into harmony. When balance is restored, the body naturally engages its own healing mechanisms more effectively. While some people feel immediate results, others notice subtle shifts over time. Either way, Reiki helps move the body and mind in a healthier direction.
Many people report improvements in breathing, heart rate, and overall relaxation, which can positively influence sleep, digestion, stress levels, and emotional well being. Reiki offers a quiet reset, a moment to pause, realign, and return to yourself.
